today's walk...

we left snowdrop cottage & went down our street...

to the park...which is at the end of our street...

we popped into the park to take a few pics....

then carried on towards the church....

this church is at our end of the town & is no longer in regular use...

through the churchyard....

and out the other side...

now along chappel hill....

i always think pictures of trees look so effective in black & white...

past the farm...

this delightful farm cottage is one of a pair...

looking across the farmland...were there are some lovely walks...

now past the river, were the ducks were having fun...

passing this dear little car...

now we are up the other end of town...

where someone was having a bonfire...i love that smell...

now towards the allotments...we were until i deleted picture again!!

past the house of ivy....towards another park...

this is a lovely little park,it was so quite there today...
we had it all to ourselves...to play around in all the crisp leaves...

just as i was about to take this picture a squirrel lept from no where onto this tree jumping from branch to branch like it was on a spring then....thud it miss judged the branch & fell straight to the ground, luckily it was ok & sprung straight up this huge tree again right to the top, much to love of my lifes amazement...

love of life investigating...very serious business you understand!!...bless him he is even colour coordinated with the time of year!!....

love of my life likes a challenge & never goes for a small stick it has to be at least twice his size....i think its a male thing?!!...

so now we have to roll on it so all the other doggies know its his...

look at that face....oohhh i am sooo in love...
now we have to say goodbye to the park...much to love of my lifes annoyance....

down the quite little road ...past this lovely white washed cottage...

we are now at the church at the top of the town...where mr h & i said ' i do'...

this decorated wheel barrow is a project the children have been working on...

now we head off back home to snowdrop cottage..

and here we are...

i hope you enjoyed our little walk around our little market town..it was such a glorious morning.
when we got home it was time for lunch,it was so nice we sat in the garden & had our lunch with the birds...never thought we would be doing that in mid october!!
i dont believe this i have deleted the picture again of us & our friends!!..i am getting to slap happy with this delete button...thats three photos deleted on todays post,i must be more patient!! third time lucky,i will put it on the next post...watch this space!

  5. Ah, what a lovely walk. My favorite part of my visit to the UK was the meandering lazily on foot here and there. Beautiful, beautiful country!
