these two dear little windows belong to the 'sea garden'
in portscatho...one of my favourites, one of the smallest shops
but filled with wonderful items....

the home to Doc Martin...

i love the next two displays in the old post office, port issac..

fruits de la mer....in fowey... (i think i've spelt that right?!).

i had to get mr h to pull over so i could snap these wonderful cabbages for sale on the road side with other wonderful home grown produce...

i thought you might like to see what else i bought home from cornwall apart from lots of happy memories to add to my collection of cornwall...
whats in this package from the sea garden?...

ahh this delightful extra large porcelain cup & saucer in ivory, the picture dosent do it justice, the inside of the cup & saucer are pale blue...perfect for hot choci...

i saw two ships come sailing in all the way home from cornwall..could'nt afford the real thing!!

i am a lover of anything driftwood, this lovely piece hangs in our porch...

funky spotty jute bags from sea salt...

this dear little button jar from the sea garden, not sure what treasures i will keep
in there...
this lovely piece was made by christine nullmeyers at the sea garden..
silver ,pearls & a old key,sweet...

and these great earrings with blue shell buttons...
they look great on..

for those of you who have'nt been too cornwall, the shops & galleries are just wonderful,a lot of them selling items only made in cornwall, which is what i love. you dont want to buy something you can get at home & is mass produced!!..the west country is full of such talented people, wonderful artists, they are so lucky to have the inspiration right on their door step. i am lucky to have made some lovely friends in cornwall which are all talented artists, they are such clever people,it seems to come so naturally to them,i truly admire them!! the shop keepers pay such attention to detail with their displays & shop fronts, they know just how to get you in..not that i need much persuading, just ask mr h & love of my life!!
i hope i am not boring you with more tails of cornwall, personally i cant see how you could ever get bored with cornwall but thats me!! a few more posts & then i promise other things,i have posts stacking up,i have a new friend to introduce you too & some lovely handmade items from a blog friend some of you will know....so watch this space!!
And please those of you that are kind enough to pop into my blog, please can you pass the word around about my blog,i really could do with more followers, its hard when you first start out!!
Thankyou sooo much my lovelies...have a lovely jubbly weekend..xx

  3. Oh I miss Cornwall so much but I chose to move away 11 years ago after growing up there & taking it all for granted! Something you can only do as a teenager I think! Fowey has lovely shops. Looks like you had a great time & wonderful shopping spree too x

  6. I think you are right. I was pleased when I heard one of my student saying, "I like it here because you are not a bunch of eggheads."
