Sunday by the sea...

Taless from snowdrop cottage could go on a bit today or should i say the pics could...i love pics of the coast & found it hard to choose which ones to show you! So yesterday we set off to one of our favourite coastlines...suffolk to a little seaside town of Aldeburgh..i have been going there since i was a little girl & now i go with my little family...

It was a fine day & very still...there was hardly any movement in the sea apart from when it hit against the shingle shoreline....there were fisherman & families out walking with their doggies...
There was lots of treasure to be found...

Love of my life had spotted some treasure of his own....
Remains of sea life amongst the lovely stoney beach....

This lovely piece of driftwood came home with us...
Looking towards the yacht club people sit in their cars enjoying their fish & chips...while the gulls watch from above waiting paciently....

Across the marshland...

Boat wrecks on the mud flats....

The breakwaters were so amazingly smooth from years of the sea working its magic....

Splish splash.....

Curling tideline....
Pebbles & string have found a home nestled in the aged wood....

A piece of art by nature itself...so pleasing to the eye....i would have loved to bring this home....

Flying the flag....

There are some wonderful properties...all shapes & sizes steeped in history.....

This little gem is the old custom house....

After all that walking it was time for chips out of the paper smothered in salt & vinegar....YUMMY!!
Love of my life had a sausage....
We had chippies....

Love of my life waiting...

for his share of chips..please excuse mr h's mouthfull!!

Where's daddy gone?

To get his very scrummy hot chocolate!!

Looking out towards the lovely picture of sea, shingle, sky & boats...

I love this picture.....

Nets & floats....

Lobster pots....

Humour on one of the fish sheds....

Spiral stairs on the gallery on the beach...
Hope you enjoyed our little stroll taknig in the fresh sea air & coming home with glowing rosey cheeks...have a lovely week. x
