Down the lane...

This is a walk that we often do on a sunday...down the lane
past the fields....

and verges filled with a ray of wild flowers....
& this lovely old farmhouse with the dear old boy who lives there...who grows allsorts in his allotment & garden, there is often home grown produce for sale out the front. A few months ago the garden was filled with lupins in a mix of wonderful colours.

past the corn field..this must be one of the last to be harvested.

These three beauties like to say hello to passers by....

This HUGE farmhouse is set in the middle of fields with a summer house as big as our snowdrop cottage!!

Road side daisies...
What are you taking a picture of mummy..i had better check this out?!!
There are lots of flutterbys about at the moment all sizes & colours...

a splash of colour...

Love of my life had found a stick & was wanting to play with his daddy....

Through the nature reserve...

Growing towards the sunlight....

Any ideas what this pretty flower is in the nature reserve?

past the stream...
Whats that up that tree..let me at him?!! Love of my life had spotted a squirrel climbing up the trees...

wild fungi growing in a tree stump...

one of the many ponds in the nature reserve...

Now we start to get excited the pub is in view!!!!

Time for refreshments..we like this lovely old village pub, they do the best homemade chunky chips!! I am a chipaholic you know!!

Fed,watered & walked its a hard life!!

Hope you are all having lovely weekends...see you in the week with the new family members!!

  2. Looks like a lovely walk:) I take my little Daisy dog along the lane and through the rhubarb fields, but unfortunately there's no pub on our route! Those pink flowers look like rosebay willowherb to me.
