well this was the start of our day trip to the big city of london ,i had a wonderful day, there was a main reason for going which i will tell you about another day.... i have so many pics to show you,i thought i would do the day in stages... we left our little train station at 9.00am saturday morning, arriving at liverpool street station at 10.03am. from there we caught a bus too leicester square with a grumpy bus driver i might add!! i dont do the underground i cant stand it & you see more when on the bus.... well when we arrived on this lovely sunny morning at leicester square the first thing I saw was this wonderful tearoom, well the cakes actually,by this time we had already had a croissant at the station but that didnt stop us,i have a very sweet tooth,we were going to get the doughnuts to takeaway until we stepped inside & saw this wonderful little place decorated so tastefully. lovely wall paper, mirrors & that wonderful chandelier'... it was the biggest doughnut ever but i enjoyed every mouth full & so did mr h & he dosent have a sweet tooth, well thats what he tells me!!...the cakes were a work of art,i dread to think how much the celebration cakes cost, hundreds i would imagine if not more, you can see the price of the gateau's...they also sold icecreams to passers by,which were just as wonderful...well we left there full & content to continue our day of loveliness.. i will continue my trip next time, please come back.... i have had a job with spacing again today so i apologise in advance if you have to scroll down a long way to leave a comment & view past posts.i will get it right eventually!!
