Everythings Christmassey!!

Welcome to snowdrop cottage...please step inside...

Where it is warm & cosey and starting to look a lot like christmas....

The christmas tree is dressed in ....

wonderful decorations & garlands a lot of which are by christine at the seagarden portscatho, who you will have heard me talk about before...

Dried oranges which i do every christmas, sometimes i tie them on parcels too...

This sweet little decoration was a gift last christmas from my dear friend jane of jane & the happy crow who can be found on blogs that i follow...

Even oscar is loving this time of year,it is all new to him & loves sitting under the tree & staring up at the sparkling lights....

& what he loves even more is his new toy...the old train,he is just waiting to load it up with parcels & make a delivery...

My front window has a pretty garland & some of christines decs...you can just see the icicle lights outside...

In the window...

I love my little driftwood tree which is in my porch, i got this from sennen in cornwall,i have it out all year..i cant bare to put it away..at christmas i hang a few pieces on it to make it even more christmassey....

Father christmas is watching everyone coming & going at snowdrop cottage to see if they are being naughty or nice....

Albus is in the swing of things too....

Sweet rupert & donkey are waiting for some finishing touches...something jingly!! I hope to do this tonight...they are sitting in my fire place...

We even have a little tree in our bedroom...

Love of my life has already hung his stocking up on the bed post...bless his little cotton socks...

The last few days here the weather has been very wintery & christmassey..we have had snow the last few days & very sharp frosts as you can see on my garden mirror...how does the ice make such pretty patterns?...

Well i have been sooooo busy with the christmas preperations,i still have lots to do...i have marzipaned the cakes today & done a HUGE food shop in the hopes to not have to go again next week...
I have been very busy making my cards..which i have really enjoyed doing...here is just a few to show you....

Next time i will show you the torchlight procession we had here...every year it is a lovely evening with such a great turn out....who watched the royal variety performance last night..i thought it was great..especially michael buble (have i spelt that right?)?!! He is sooo scrummy..i love that voice!!
I have enjoyed everyones christmas posts...i hope to get a few more in before the big day arrives...enjoy the rest of your preperations.....xx

  2. Such a lovely post again Heidi. I love all your decorations and even more so because some of them are Cornish in origin. The bears are an inspired touch too. Wish our food shop was out the way. Will have to follow your example I think xx
