don't be shy...

come on,don't be shy....

that's it slowly does it....

all these lovely people are waiting to meet you...

& here he is,well done!!
introducing Albus....

Albus is who i have been going to introduce you all too..
Albus is the latest edition to my bear hug...

blow i've just deleted a picture!!..

Albus is by Gail Thornton of Bisson Bears & is one of my favourite artists...
I only discovered gail's wonderful bears last year, through the lovely helen of 'cocoa & blankets'...so thankyou helen. x

Gail just has this wonderful talent,i have never known bears with such amazing expressions, gail just gets it so right...all of gails bears have wonderful soulful eyes, they look at you as if they know what you are thinking & without sounding creepy their eyes seem to follow you around the room, you feel you could tell them everything & that they would understand!!...

Albus is one of my largest bears,my largest of gail's,albus has three bisson brothers which can be seen on the right with all my pics...there will soon be another edition to the bisson boys...i took albus to my bear club i go to once a month & he was rather popular to say the least!!...i had to keep a close eye on him, incase anyone tried to stuff him up their jumper!! my goodness the thought of a bear napping!! my bear friend from the club was going all gooey over albus, she could'nt get over his wonderful eyes, could you angela?!!

the attention to detail is wonderful...

i think you have seen these before...

and this is were albus sits on his throne, when he's not raiding the honey pot that is!!...watching the tele out the corner of his eye...

well today has been another funny day weather wise, dry this morning but since lunch time the rain has been falling...i managed to salvage what small amount of dried lavender i had before it started, its not a great colour but smells lovely...the aroma hits you as you walk into the kitchen..

i will be sprinkling some of this in someone's parcel i am posting tomorrow...

and this little man is feeling a little under the weather today...he has a rumbling is his tummy.....love of my life did'nt want his krispies this morning so i knew something was up...bless him.xx

tomorrow i am meeting a old childhood friend who i havent seen in thirteen years on my wedding day & before that we were still little girls....so we will have lots to catch up on!!
bye for now.....xx

i deserve this...

i enjoyed that...another busy day of rushing about,a day started badly by over sleeping!! not a good start to the week,it was so dark this morning,it just did'nt feel like time to get up!
this little man had to be at the vets at 10.15am for his boosters,so it was a quick breakfast, washed & dressed to get love of my life out for his walk before taking tai to see uncle veti! next call was the gym to burn off the huge roast dinner & syrup pudd with custard consumed yesterday, then to the bottle bank to get rid of all the evidence consumed in the last week!!
it has been all go since we got back from our beloved cornwall, talking of which some more pics to show you...this time the cornish countryside...

i love dandelion heads, they always remind me of my childhood...blow & make a wish....

this too reminds me of my childhood,my parents live by fields, every year after they had harvested the fields we would pack up a picnic & lay our picnic blanket against a bale of straw & tuck in after black berrie picking....

chocolate box?....

this little place was so sweet, the perfect holiday home...

i love this of the sheep, love of my life was not impressed, waiting for me to take this...

and the lovely moo cows....

i shall use some of these flowery pics when i make my cards...

now back home, yesterday was spent cutting back our jungle of a garden, our garden is not huge by any means but it is a cottage style garden & everything just grows like mad especially with the sun we have been getting.we still have a bit more to do but the worst is done, our green bin,our neighbours plus a huge huge sack they deliver building sand in is full!!
out came the blower/sucker thing (outdoor hoover) to gather up all the leaves, much to love of my lifes annoyance!! tailor just sat & watched us busily working away, while aromas of the sunday roast waffted from indoors...

autumn has arrived at snowdrop cottage...

so many different tones of colour...

cutting back the lavenders...

and who do we have for you to meet next storytime?
watch this space, its worth the wait....

i have a feeling you may have to scroll down a way to leave a comment & view older posts as i have moved my photos up quite a bit...sorry!! happy monday!! xx
p.s thanks so much for all the lovely messages!

i had to get mr h to pull over so i could snap these wonderful cabbages for sale on the road side with other wonderful home grown produce...

i thought you might like to see what else i bought home from cornwall apart from lots of happy memories to add to my collection of cornwall...
whats in this package from the sea garden?...

and these great earrings with blue shell buttons...
they look great on..

for those of you who have'nt been too cornwall, the shops & galleries are just wonderful,a lot of them selling items only made in cornwall, which is what i love. you dont want to buy something you can get at home & is mass produced!!..the west country is full of such talented people, wonderful artists, they are so lucky to have the inspiration right on their door step. i am lucky to have made some lovely friends in cornwall which are all talented artists, they are such clever people,it seems to come so naturally to them,i truly admire them!! the shop keepers pay such attention to detail with their displays & shop fronts, they know just how to get you in..not that i need much persuading, just ask mr h & love of my life!!
i hope i am not boring you with more tails of cornwall, personally i cant see how you could ever get bored with cornwall but thats me!! a few more posts & then i promise other things,i have posts stacking up,i have a new friend to introduce you too & some lovely handmade items from a blog friend some of you will know....so watch this space!!
And please those of you that are kind enough to pop into my blog, please can you pass the word around about my blog,i really could do with more followers, its hard when you first start out!!
